Stick Your Neck Out

Love the Thornberrys!
We started watching the Wild Thornberries when my now-teenaged daughter was little. Now, we are all enjoying watching them again with my youngest. It's one of the rare shows that the parents enjoy as much (if not more than) the kids. We love watching the map at the beginning of each episode to discover where they are going next.

Flashback to a favorite of mine!
This cartoon is great for learning about animals and has all the great lessons what I believe the really good cartoons have. I prefer this over mindless stupidity any day! As a older kid I still found myself wishing I could talk to animals and it was and still is a great thing to watch the time fly by! My only complaint is that there are so few episodes, and they aren't put in order of release.

Fun and Educational
My daughter, age 6, has watched every episode of every available season -- mostly when she's been home sick with the flu or similar this year. She is now rewatching all of them, bit by bit. She loves it, and has learned interesting scientific, geographic, and other facts about the world that she impresses us with.
