A new era for King Arthur
I loved the book by Meg Cabot more, I must admit, but Disney did a nice job of recreating the story. As with most movies based on novels, there were changes that I don't believe were necessary, such as changing the main character's name from Ellie to Allie and who actually was the reincarnated King Arthur. Despite these changes "Avalon High" is a great movie for teens and families alike. It has a bit of mystery, adventure, myth and legend and a secret romance. I wish they would put it on DVD.
